Skibob

A skibob (or snow bike) is a bicycle-like vehicle with skis instead of wheels, ridden in a seated position down snow-covered slopes, often with the rider wearing small skis called skibock or footskis for balance. It was popular mid-20th century as an alternative winter sport to skiing and had its own world championships. It attracts riders who prefer a cycling-like posture and steering mechanism over standing ski technique.
