Skeet Shooting

Skeet shooting is a shotgun sport in which competitors shoot at clay disc targets, called clay pigeons, launched from two elevated trap houses positioned to simulate birds crossing in flight. Shooters move through a series of stations around a semicircular field, facing targets thrown singly and in pairs at varying angles. It has been an Olympic shooting event since 1968 and is also popular as a recreational and club-based sport worldwide.
