Para-Badminton

Para-badminton is badminton adapted for players with physical or visual impairments, played standing or from a wheelchair on a court with modified boundary lines depending on the class, using standard rackets and shuttlecocks. Players are grouped into classes based on impairment type, such as wheelchair, standing lower-limb, standing upper-limb, or short stature. It made its Paralympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 Games and appeals to participants for its fast-paced rallies and relatively low barrier to entry.
