Music Session

A music session (often called a jam session) is an informal gathering where musicians play together, improvising or performing familiar songs without extensive rehearsal or a formal setlist. Common in folk, jazz, and traditional music communities (such as Irish trad sessions in pubs), it offers a social, low-pressure way for musicians of varying skill levels to play and learn from one another.
