Malakhra

Malakhra is a traditional form of wrestling practiced mainly in Sindh, Pakistan, in which competitors grip a cloth belt (lungi) tied around each other's waist rather than grappling the body directly. Wins are earned by throwing the opponent to the ground using holds, trips, and balance techniques while maintaining the belt grip. It is performed at rural festivals and fairs and is considered part of Sindhi cultural heritage.
