Immersion Finswimming

Immersion finswimming is a competitive underwater discipline within the sport of finswimming in which athletes wear monofins or bifins along with self-contained breathing apparatus (scuba) and swim submerged over set distances for speed. It is regulated internationally by CMAS (the World Underwater Federation) and appeals to divers and swimmers who enjoy underwater speed and breath-control challenges.
