Apnoea Finswimming

Apnoea finswimming is an underwater sport in which swimmers wear monofins or bifins and swim as far or as fast as possible on a single breath, without any breathing apparatus. It is one of the disciplines recognized by the World Underwater Federation (CMAS), tested in pools over set distances. It demands strong breath-hold training, streamlined technique, and awareness of blackout risk, drawing competitive swimmers and freedivers alike.
