Forró

Forró is a lively genre of music and partner dance that originated in the Northeastern region of Brazil, traditionally played with accordion, triangle, and zabumba drum. The dance is characterized by close-hold partner work and rhythmic footwork, and it remains central to Brazilian festas juninas (June festivals) as well as forró dance communities worldwide.
