Fleet Racing

A sailboat racing format in which many boats of the same or handicapped classes start and race simultaneously around a set course, with the first to finish (or best on corrected time) winning. It is the most common form of competitive sailing, used from club regattas to the Olympics, contrasted with match racing between just two boats.
