Eigenharp

The Eigenharp is an electronic musical instrument, developed by the UK company Eigenlabs in the 2000s, featuring a keyboard of pressure- and movement-sensitive keys, a breath pipe, and strip controllers that let a single performer control synthesized sounds, samples, and sequencing with expressive, nuanced gestures. It was designed to give electronic musicians the kind of continuous, expressive control that traditional acoustic instruments offer, appealing to experimental and electronic performers. Though a niche, relatively expensive instrument, it developed a dedicated following among electronic music producers and live performers.
