Cross-Country Rally

A cross-country rally is a long-distance motorsport event in which cars, trucks, motorcycles, or quads race across open and often unpaved terrain such as desert, steppe, or mountain routes over multiple days, navigating by roadbook or GPS between checkpoints. The Dakar Rally is its most famous example, and the discipline tests both vehicle durability and driver endurance and navigation skill.
