Folkrace

Folkrace is a grassroots motorsport, originating in Sweden, in which amateur drivers race modified ordinary road cars on gravel or dirt tracks in a format similar to rallycross. It was created as an inexpensive, accessible entry point into motorsport, with strict low-cost rules limiting how much cars can be modified. It remains popular in Scandinavia as a hobby for enthusiasts who want competitive racing without the expense of higher-tier motorsport.
