Cabbage Patch Dance

The Cabbage Patch is a pop/hip-hop dance move that emerged in the mid-1980s, involving a rhythmic rotation of the fists near the hips while shifting body weight side to side. It was popularized partly through the song "Cabbage Patch" by Tony! Toni! Toné! and rapper Chill Rob G, and its name riffs on the contemporaneous Cabbage Patch Kids doll craze. It became a staple move in hip-hop dance culture and is still referenced in dance routines today.
