Acrobatic Gymnastics

Acrobatic gymnastics is a competitive gymnastics discipline in which pairs or groups of athletes perform choreographed routines involving balances, dynamic throws, and tumbling, working together to lift, throw, and catch one another in sync with music. Governed internationally by the FIG, it demands exceptional trust, strength, and timing between partners and is contested at world championships and other elite competitions.
