Pickleball

Pickleball is a paddle sport played on a badminton-sized court with a modified tennis net, using solid paddles and a perforated plastic ball similar to a wiffle ball. Invented in the mid-1960s on Bainbridge Island, Washington, it combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis and can be played as singles or doubles. It has become one of the fastest-growing recreational sports in the United States, popular for being easier on the joints and quicker to learn than tennis.
