Aesthetic Group Gymnastics

Aesthetic group gymnastics is a competitive team sport originating in Finland in which groups of women perform flowing, continuous choreography combining gymnastic elements, dance, and expressive body movement set to music, without the apparatus used in rhythmic gymnastics. Routines emphasize large, sweeping movements, flexibility, and unified group expression rather than isolated tricks. It is distinct from artistic and rhythmic gymnastics and has its own international federation and world championships.
