Wheel Gymnastics

Wheel gymnastics (Rhönrad or gymnastics wheel) is a sport in which an athlete performs acrobatic movements inside a large steel wheel consisting of two rings connected by rungs, rolling, spinning, and leaping through straight-line, spiral, and vault routines. Competitors are judged on control, precision, and creativity as they manipulate the wheel's momentum with their bodies. It originated in Germany in the 1920s and remains most popular in Europe, with international championships held periodically.
