Career App Passes Its 25,000th Listing With Posted Pay

By Ben Garves

AUSTIN, Texas, October 19, 2026, Career App has passed its 25,000th listing with posted pay. The exact figure stands at 27,301 as of today, counted across the employer careers sites Career App crawls plus roles employers post on the site directly. It is a cumulative total, not a count of roles open right now.

A listing counts toward that figure only when it carried a pay figure the employer published on the listing itself, a salary or a range, never an estimate. The counter covers every US listing Career App has indexed since launch, whether crawled from an employer's own careers site or posted on Career App, and whether or not the role is still open. A role reposted across several store or office pages counts once. A role the employer later posted on the site themselves is not counted twice.

Two days earlier, on October 17, 2026, the same counter read 24,662. The site has added 2,639 listings with posted pay since that reading.

Career App by the numbers

Career App has now indexed 230,572 distinct job listings in total, read from 1,140 employer careers sites. Those listings come from 771 employers, and 289 occupations currently have at least five roles open. The occupations figure is a snapshot and can fall as roles close.

Separate from the cumulative counters, job search on Career App holds 61,363 open roles today from 741 employers hiring. Of those, 8,015 were posted in the last seven days, 3,646 are remote, and 11,649 carry posted pay. The median posted pay across those open roles is $141,025, taken from the pay ranges employers published on their listings and annualized to US dollars. The site's daily hiring trends series now runs to 34 consecutive daily snapshots; a year of that series would be 365 rows.

"Pay on a listing is the thing people ask us for most, and 27,301 of them now carry a number the employer wrote down," said Ben Garves, founder of The GoodApps Company. "We don't model pay or guess at it. If the employer didn't publish a figure, the listing isn't in that count, and job seekers can see exactly which ones are."
