Career App Passes Its 750th Employer

AUSTIN, Texas, October 18, 2026, Career App has passed its 750th employer. The exact count today is 752. That figure covers the employer careers sites Career App crawls plus roles employers post on the site directly, not the whole US job market.

The counter has a narrow definition. It counts distinct employers that have had at least one US job listing on Career App, whether the listing was crawled from the employer's own careers site or posted here directly. An employer stays counted once it appears, so the number does not fall when a role closes.

A day earlier, on October 17, 2026, the same counter read 708. Career App added 44 employers in that single day. The crawler reads employers' boards at the source, and how it crawls employer boards is published.

Career App has indexed 229,860 distinct US job listings since launch, a cumulative total that includes roles no longer open. It reads 1,130 employer careers sites. Of the listings indexed since launch, 26,012 carried a pay figure the employer published on the listing itself, a salary or a range, never an estimate. The occupations index currently holds 254 occupations with at least five roles open right now, a snapshot that can fall as roles close.

Today's inventory is a separate count from those cumulative totals. The job search shows 60,974 roles open right now.

Among the 10,438 open listings that carry pay, the median posted pay is $147,000, annualized to USD from the ranges employers published. Career App also keeps 33 consecutive daily snapshots of its hiring inventory, the series behind US hiring trends, day by day.
