Risk Manager
A Risk Manager identifies, evaluates, and mitigates the financial, operational, and regulatory risks facing an organization, often reporting to executive leadership or the board. They conduct risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and use risk management software and financial modeling backed by data analysis to quantify exposure and recommend controls. Duties & responsibilities
- Design and implement risk mitigation strategies and internal controls to reduce organizational exposure
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards through monitoring and reporting
- Conduct risk assessments of third-party vendors and partners to evaluate security and operational risk
- Oversee risk management technology platforms and tools to track, model, and quantify risk exposure
- Communicate risk findings and recommendations to senior leadership and the board
