Data Scientist
Data scientists build statistical and machine learning models to solve business problems, writing Python and SQL to process data and applying statistical modeling techniques to uncover patterns others might miss. Duties & responsibilities
- Build and evaluate machine learning and statistical models to solve business problems using Python and SQL
- Design and run experiments to test hypotheses and measure the impact of data-driven decisions
- Create data pipelines and perform feature engineering to prepare complex, messy data for modeling
- Analyze patterns in large datasets and translate findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders
- Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to understand requirements and implement data solutions
- Develop visualizations and narratives to communicate statistical insights and model results to non-technical audiences
- Monitor model performance in production and investigate error patterns or data quality issues
