Yukigassen

Yukigassen is an organized, rules-based snowball-fighting sport that originated in Sobetsu, Hokkaido, Japan, in the 1980s. Two teams battle across a divided snow-covered court, using prepared snowballs and inflatable shields to hit opponents or capture their flag, and the sport now has international tournaments and adapted versions played on non-snow surfaces.
