Welsh Handball

Welsh handball is a traditional court sport in which players strike a small rubber ball against a wall using their bare hand or a gloved hand, scoring points when an opponent fails to return it. It is one of several historic regional handball codes in the British Isles, with roots going back centuries in Welsh mining and industrial communities. It survives today mainly through amateur clubs and heritage associations working to preserve it as a piece of Welsh sporting culture.
