Standing Long Jump

The standing long jump (also called the standing broad jump) is a jumping event measuring horizontal distance from a stationary start, without a running approach, relying purely on leg power and arm swing for momentum. It was an Olympic event in the early 20th century and today is used mainly as a fitness and athletic assessment exercise.
