Standing Triple Jump

The standing triple jump is a variant of the triple jump performed from a stationary starting position rather than a running approach, consisting of a hop, step, and jump in succession to maximize horizontal distance. Like its standing counterparts in the high jump and long jump, it was once contested at the Olympics and is now used chiefly as a plyometric power test.
