Rugby Football

Rugby football is the umbrella term for the family of contact sports that originated at Rugby School in England, encompassing both rugby union and rugby league, in which teams carry, pass, and kick an oval ball to score tries and goals. It's characterized by physical tackling, scrums or play-the-balls, and continuous, fluid phases of play, and it is followed worldwide, especially in the UK, Ireland, France, and the southern hemisphere.
