Arena Football

Arena football is an indoor variant of American football played on a smaller field, typically in a hockey-sized arena with padded walls in place of sidelines, using modified rules that produce faster, higher-scoring games. It was most prominently organized by the Arena Football League in the United States. The compact format and close-quarters action made it a fast-paced alternative to the outdoor game.
