Luge

Luge is a winter sliding sport in which a rider lies supine, feet-first, on a small sled and races down a steeply banked, ice-covered track, steering by shifting body weight and applying leg pressure. It is an Olympic sport contested in singles and doubles events, with athletes reaching speeds over 140 km/h. Its appeal lies in the extreme speed, precision steering, and thrill of a controlled high-risk descent.
