Lacrosse

Lacrosse is a team sport originating with Indigenous peoples of North America, played with a small rubber ball and a long-handled stick (crosse) with a webbed pocket used to catch, carry, and pass the ball toward the opposing goal. Modern versions include field lacrosse, box lacrosse, and women's lacrosse, each with different rules on contact and field size. It is popular in the United States, Canada, and increasingly worldwide, valued for its speed, physicality, and skill with the stick.
