Box Lacrosse

Box lacrosse is an indoor variant of lacrosse played on a hockey-rink-sized surface (often the same arenas used for ice hockey) with smaller teams, typically six players per side. It emphasizes fast-paced, physical play with more frequent scoring than field lacrosse, due to the tighter space and shot clock. Popular in Canada and parts of the United States, it's often used to develop stick skills and toughness in lacrosse players during the off-season.
