Ijscolf

IJscolf is a traditional Dutch winter game, considered a historical ancestor of golf, in which players use curved wooden clubs to strike a ball or puck-like object toward a target across ice, such as a frozen canal or pond. It is documented in Dutch Golden Age paintings and has been revived in the Netherlands as a heritage winter pastime.
