Ski Touring

Ski touring, also known as backcountry skiing, involves climbing snow-covered slopes using skis equipped with removable climbing skins and then skiing down ungroomed, off-piste terrain. Unlike resort skiing, it takes place away from lift infrastructure, requiring fitness, avalanche awareness, and specialized lightweight gear.
