Cyr Wheel

A circus apparatus consisting of a large single steel or aluminum ring in which a performer stands, using body weight and momentum to spin, tilt, and roll across the floor. Named after Canadian performer Daniel Cyr, it combines elements of dance, gymnastics, and balance, and has become a popular circus and flow-arts discipline.
