Cosplay

Cosplay is the hobby of designing, making, and wearing costumes to portray characters from anime, comics, video games, movies, and other media, often at conventions, competitions, or photoshoots. Enthusiasts, called cosplayers, engage in it for the craft of costume and prop-making, the performance of embodying a beloved character, and the community built around shared fandoms. Skills involved can include sewing, armor and prop fabrication, wig styling, and makeup or special effects.
