Canoe Polo

Canoe polo is a competitive team sport in which two teams of five paddlers in kayaks try to throw a ball into an elevated goal at each end of a swimming pool or flatwater pitch, while also using paddle skills to block, tackle, and maneuver opponents. It combines fast-paced ball-handling, similar to water polo, with kayaking technique and physical contact within set rules. The sport is governed internationally and has world championships, with players wearing helmets and buoyancy aids for safety.
