Inner Tube Water Polo

Inner tube water polo is a recreational variation of traditional water polo in which players sit or float in inflatable inner tubes rather than swimming freely, which levels the playing field for people of varying swimming ability. It's popular at colleges, community pools, and rec leagues because it emphasizes fun, teamwork, and safety over the intense conditioning required by competitive water polo. Rules mirror water polo (passing, shooting on a goal) but players cannot leave their tubes to swim after the ball.
