Boardercross

Boardercross (also called Snowboard Cross or SBX) is a snowboarding discipline in which four to six riders race simultaneously down a course featuring banked turns, jumps, and rollers, combining elements of motocross-style racing with snowboarding. First contested at the Winter Olympics in 2006, it's known for close, contact-heavy racing and frequent collisions as riders jockey for position. It demands both raw speed and technical terrain skills, distinguishing it from the individual timed format of parallel giant slalom.
