Blitzball

Blitzball is a plastic, perforated ball designed for a form of trick pitching and backyard baseball-style play, popularized by an infomercial product that let amateur players throw curveballs, sliders, and other exaggerated breaking pitches thanks to its holes and lightweight design. It's used casually in yards and parks by kids and baseball fans practicing pitching mechanics. The name is also used for a fictional sport in the video game series Final Fantasy X, though the toy/product is the more common real-world reference.
