Scuba Diving

Scuba diving is an underwater activity in which divers use a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (an air or gas tank with a regulator) to breathe while submerged, allowing extended exploration below the surface without a surface air supply. It's practiced recreationally to explore coral reefs, shipwrecks, and marine life, and professionally for research, salvage, and underwater construction. Divers typically train and certify through organizations like PADI or NAUI to learn safety procedures, buoyancy control, and decompression rules.
