Barrel Jumping

Barrel jumping is a winter sport in which ice skaters build up speed and leap over a row of barrels laid on their sides, trying to clear as many as possible without falling. It originated among Dutch and North American skaters and survives today mainly as an exhibition or novelty competitive event at winter festivals.
