Aggressive Inline Skating

Aggressive inline skating is a discipline of rollerblading focused on performing tricks such as grinds, jumps, and spins on skate parks, street obstacles, and specially designed rails and ramps. Skaters use inline skates with reinforced frames (soul plates) designed to withstand the impact of grinding on rails and ledges. It grew out of 1990s street and vert skating culture and remains popular among skaters drawn to its technical trick vocabulary and DIY skate-spot culture.
