Performance Review

Human Resources and People Operations

A performance review is a formal evaluation, usually conducted annually or semi-annually, in which a manager assesses an employee's job performance, accomplishments, and areas for improvement. It typically involves self-assessments, manager feedback, goal-setting, and sometimes peer or 360-degree input, and often informs decisions about raises, promotions, or development plans. HR professionals and managers use it as a key tool for employee accountability and growth.
