Customer Health Scoring
Data Science, Analytics and AI/ML
Customer health scoring is a method, common in SaaS and subscription businesses, of assigning a numerical or categorical score to each customer account based on usage patterns, engagement, support tickets, and satisfaction signals to predict renewal or churn risk. Customer success managers use these scores to prioritize outreach, flag at-risk accounts, and identify upsell opportunities. Scores are typically built into customer success platforms and updated automatically from product and CRM data.
