Data Engineer
A Data Engineer designs, builds, and maintains the pipelines and infrastructure that move and transform data for analytics and applications across an organization. Duties & responsibilities
- Design and build data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into centralized storage systems
- Write SQL and Python code to transform raw data into structured formats for analytics and applications
- Deploy and maintain ETL workflows and data infrastructure on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Establish data models, schemas, and dimensional structures that organize data for efficient querying and analysis
- Monitor data quality, pipeline reliability, and system performance to ensure data accuracy and availability
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
