Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Payroll, HR, or related field
  • 2-3 years hands-on payroll experience covering US operations and UK exposure in multi-entity or fast-growth environment
  • Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals including statutory deductions, benefits, employment taxes, and payroll controls
  • Experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and time tracking systems
  • Proficiency in Excel with functions like VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and PivotTables
  • Ability to work independently and own payroll timelines and deliverables
  • Ability to identify payroll issues, research jurisdiction-specific requirements, and communicate solutions to stakeholders
  • Comfort with payroll-to-GL reconciliation and month-end close processes

Nice to have

  • Payroll-related qualifications or training such as CIPP, FPC/CPP, or equivalent
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or multi-site businesses
