Wushu

Wushu is the modern, standardized form of Chinese martial arts, encompassing both acrobatic performance-based routines (taolu) and full-contact sparring (sanda). It was developed in China in the 20th century for competitive and demonstration purposes and combines elements of traditional kung fu styles with gymnastic flair, attracting practitioners for its athleticism, discipline, and visual spectacle.
