Weight Over Bar

Weight over bar (also called weight for height) is a track and field event, historically part of Scottish Highland Games, in which competitors throw a weight (traditionally attached to a handle) over a raised horizontal bar using one hand, aiming for maximum height rather than distance. It tests explosive upper-body and full-body power and is a signature event of Highland Games competitions.
