Trial

Trial (or trials) is a motorcycling or mountain-biking discipline in which riders navigate tight, technical, obstacle-laden courses—rocks, logs, steep drops—at very low speed without putting a foot down, rather than racing for speed. Sections are scored on the number of times a rider "dabs" a foot or fails a section, rewarding balance, throttle control, and precision. It attracts riders who enjoy technical skill and control challenges over raw speed.
