Gravity Racing

Gravity racing refers to competitive racing of unpowered vehicles, such as soapbox carts, gravity karts, or luge-style sleds, that are propelled solely by gravity down a sloped course rather than by an engine or pedaling. Events include soapbox derbies, street luge, and downhill skateboarding, where competitors race for the fastest time to the bottom of a hill. The sport attracts thrill-seekers and DIY builders who enjoy engineering their own vehicles for speed and control.
