Stické

Stické, also known as stické tennis or 'amateur' court tennis, was a 19th-century indoor racquet sport that combined elements of real tennis (court tennis) and lawn tennis, played on a smaller court with sloped side walls (penthouses) similar to real tennis. It was popular briefly among British upper-class club players in the late 1800s before lawn tennis eclipsed it in popularity. Few courts survive today, making it a largely historical curiosity in racquet sport history.
